Celtics Show Interests in Sixers' Ben Simmons As Teams "Engaged In" Talks

The Celtics have engaged in talks with the Sixers about potentially trading for Ben Simmons sources say.

The Athletic’s Shams Charania reported the teams have talked about a potential trade but there have been "no traction" as of yet. It's expected the Sixers would require Jaylen Brown to be part of any trade package for the former number one overall pick. The Sixers currently sit at the top of the Eastern conference without Simmons’ services while the C’s have been struggling to begin the season at 4-6.
