Seahawks' QB Russell Wilson Cleared For Return Ahead of Week 10

Seahawks QB Russell Wilson has been cleared to return after undergoing finger surgery last month.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that the doctor who performed the surgery, Dr. Steve Shin, cleared Wilson on Monday ahead of their Week 10 game against the Packers who are also missing their starting QB. The surgery was to repair a tendon rupture (mallet finger) and a fracture-dislocation. Wilson tweeted out “It’s time” along with a video confirming the news of his recovery:

The Pro-Bowl WB had surgery on Oct. 8, a day after he banged his hand against Rams DE Aaron Donald on a follow-through. The Seahawks went 1-2 in Wilson’s absence.
