Trade For Deshaun Watson Getting Closer For Dolphins

The Dolphins are reportedly “working on a trade” for Deshaun Watson and could have a deal done by this week, per John McClain of the Houston Chronicle.

Mark Berman of Fox 26 also reported a deal could be done imminent, noting both teams “hope to work something out” before the trade deadline in early November.

Watson has been inactive throughout the 2021 season after reportedly being done with the franchise. The quarterback is also in the midst of 22 civil lawsuits and 10 criminal complaints from women who have accused him of sexual assault or misconduct.

The Dolphins have been linked to Watson for months now. McClain writes that those talks have "intensified into serious negotiations." If the Dolphins are able to get a done deal then one must think that second-year quarterback Tua Tagovailoa will be included in the deal.
