CMC Joins 99 club in Madden 21
Christian McCaffery joins SB MVP Patrick Mahomes in the 99 overall club on the new Madden 21, set to release this August.
Madden’s Twitter account revealed the news this morning that the running back will be apart of the club yet again after a spectacular 2019 season. Last season he was an All-Pro at two different positions putting up ridiculous stats as a running back and receiver. He finished third in rushing putting up 1,387 rushing yards and was a 1,000-yard receiver making him one of the most versatile backs in the league. CMC finished the season with 19 overall touchdowns (15 rushing TD’s), a league-high tied with Green Bay’s Aaron Jones. At the start of the NFL season, CMC was a 91 overall but because of his play was vaulted into the 99 club later in the season.
Thanks to @DanielBank7 we got a supposed screenshot of the top players in Madden 21 as seen below. Patriots’ Stephon Gilmore and Ram’s Aaron Donald round out the four players in the 99 club. Other notable entries are Michael Thomas being the No. 1 ranked WR followed by DeAndre Hopkins.
