Cowboys Outlasts Vikings on SNF behind pair of ‘Coopers’

The Cowboys pulled off a thrilling upset against the Vikings on SNF and they did it behind backup QB Cooper Rush who was filling in for Dak Prescott who is dealing with an injury. Rush completed 24 of 40 passes for 325 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception against the Vikings. The Cowboys saved their best plays for the final drive of the night including this game-winning touchdown to WR Amari Cooper:

Astros Survive Another Game, Head Back to Houston For Game 6

The Astros recovered in Game 5 to beat the Braves 9-5 sending the World Series back to Houston for Game 6 on Tuesday. Houston had to overcome a first-inning grand slam by Braves’ outfielder Adam Duvall that smelled doom early for the team. Shortstop Alex Bregman drove in Astro's first run with a double in the top of the second, minutes after Duvall's grand slam. Catcher Martin Maldonado drove in three runs and Marwin Gonzalez also hit a key two-run single.

Carmelo Anthony Saving The Lakers Early On As They Figure Out New Additions

Carmelo Anthony has been a perfect addition for the Lakers as he has been a consistent stretch forward option for the team. Friday, Anthony exploded from deep, knocking down six 3-pointers in the Lakers 113-101 win over the Cavaliers. Sunday night he had a game-high 23 points in 24 mins that helped lift the Lakers to a 95-85 win over the Rockets. After the game, Anthony had a lot to say to the doubters: "I think people don't really understand me. I think there's a misconception out there about me and not being able to adapt to situations. But I'm easily adaptable, man, to any situation."
