Thursday, commissioner Adam Silver will meet with the NBA’s Board of Governors on a call at 12:30 PM ET to decide on the current plan that is on the table, a resume to the season with a 22-team return-to-play in Orlando per Adrian Wojnarowski.

This plan includes 13 Western and 9 Eastern Conference teams returning to play on July 31st through October 12th. This means the current 16 teams seeded one through eighth in each conference will be joined by the Portland Blazers, New Orlean Pelicans, Sacramento Kings, San Antonio Spurs, and Phoenix Suns for the West and for the East the Washington Wizards. Each team will have eight regular-season games to play in for the eighth seed. Only If the ninth seed is less then four games behind the NBA will implant the talked about play in tournament laid out by Woj.

The games will be played at Disney’s ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando. And it was reported that accommodations will be made for the players including some players bring family members to the site. It is important to note that with the eighth games being played, the NBA will meet their mark for the television money which will get players paid for the remainder of the season.

NBA fans await what could be finally the return to basketball.
