Kyrie Irving Will Miss A Pivotal Game 5 With Ankle Injury

Kyrie Irving will not be suiting up for Game 5.

The Brooklyn Nets superstar guard has been ruled out for Tuesday’s matchup against the Bucks with a sprained right ankle. Irving exited Game 4 after falling on his ankle awkwardly in a collision with Giannis Antetokounmpo, falling on his feet after a jump shot:

There is no timetable for the return of Irving. Nets coach Steve Nash said he doesn’t know if the star will be able to return in this series per Malika Andrews. He was seen leaving Buck’s arena in a walking boot and crutches after yesterday’s game. Nash also told reporters yesterday that the x-rays on the ankle were negative.

Nets superstar Kevin Durant is now the sole star for the Nets in a pivotal Game 5 after Bucks defended home court and evened the series at 2-2.
