Breaking News: Browns' Myles Garrett reinstated by NFL

Days after meeting with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, Cleveland Browns’ Myles Garrett has been reinstated effective immediately.

Garrett was suspended indefinitely after hitting Mason Rudolph on top of the head with the quarterback’s helmet during a Week 11 clash against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Garrett attempted an appeal that the QB incised him with a racial slur, which Rudolph denied. Garrett was denied his appeal and missed the last six games of the season.

We welcome Myles back to our organization with open arms,” Browns general manager Andrew Berry said in a statement. “We know he is grateful to be reinstated, eager to put the past behind him and continue to evolve and grow as a leader. We look forward to having his strong positive presence back as a teammate, player and person in our community.

Getting Garrett back now is great for the Browns moving forward. They will have him at the start of training camps as this re-tooled coaching staff looks to lead them to the Super Bowl.
